This isn't the first rodeo; it's the fourth incident in a week, with garbage bins and entrances going up in flames prior. While no injuries were reported, the neighborhood is left sizzling with questions about who's behind these fiery antics.
🔍 Was Fugitive Joseph Ayala Hiding in Plain Sight? 🔍
After almost a year on the run, Joseph Ayala, charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of his grandmother and mother, was finally arrested in Etobicoke. Neighbours reported sightings of him in the area, sparking concerns and speculation about his whereabouts. The arrest, caught on social media, unfolded right in front of stunned locals, highlighting the chilling possibility of a fugitive living undetected amongst them. Ayala is set to appear in court next week, shedding light on a tense chapter in the community's history.
🔥 Fire Evacuation at Etobicoke Elementary School 🔥
A fire sparked in a maintenance closet at St. Andrew Catholic Elementary School in Etobicoke, leading to the evacuation of the school. Thankfully, all students, including around 50 children in daycare, were safely moved to a nearby portable. While no injuries were reported, police and officials were on-site managing the situation. For parents and residents in the area, this incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety protocols in schools and the community.
