An Etobicoke woman got a whiff of trouble when a $220 Dior perfume from Shoppers Drug Mart turned out to be a cheap knock-off, labeled 'Joane' instead of 'J'adore.' After a scent-sational investigation, she scored a refund in PC Optimum points. The incident left her cautious of big retailers, emphasizing the importance of checking pricey purchases on the spot. A smelly situation indeed!
🚀🌕 To the Moon with a Taste of Etobicoke 🌕🚀
NASA's Artemis II mission, the first crewed lunar space flight in over 50 years, took off with four astronauts, including Canadian Jeremy Hansen. While they won't land on the moon, they'll travel the farthest humans have gone in space. The 10-day mission aims to test life support systems for future lunar missions, marking a significant step in NASA's Artemis program towards exploring the moon and building momentum for Mars missions. 🔥🏠 Etobicoke House Fire Forces Neighbours Out 🏠🔥
A two-alarm house fire in Etobicoke led to neighboring homes being evacuated, with firefighters shifting to a defensive strategy as flames compromised the second floor. While the cause of the fire remains a mystery, the quick response of emergency crews helped douse the blaze within hours. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but it was definitely a fiery Saturday night in the neighborhood.
