THE DIGEST
🚤 Humber Bay Jet Ski Joyride Ends in Hospital Visit 🚤
Summer fun took a bad turn at Etobicoke’s Humber Bay Park West when a man in his 30s ended up in the hospital after a dramatic jet ski collision. Toronto police swooped in just before 3:30 p.m. on August 4th to rescue the riders involved, with one suffering a leg injury. Investigators are still determining what caused the crash; there’s no word yet on whether speed or alcohol played a role. The incident underscores the need for caution on the water, especially in busy summer spots like Humber Bay and Marie Curtis Park. Wear those life vests, keep your distance from other craft and remember that Lake Ontario is not your personal racetrack.
🏒 Is Etobicoke's Adrianna Milani the Next Hockey Superstar? 🌟
Get ready to meet your new hockey crush, folks! Etobicoke Dolphins' forward, Adrianna Milani, is making waves with her impressive skills and ability to dominate the game. Hailing from Oakville, this rising star has been turning heads with her knack for scoring goals and thriving under pressure, positioning herself as one of the brightest young talents in Canadian women's hockey. Keep an eye on Milani as she gears up to represent Team Canada at the U-18 selection camp.
🚨 Motorcyclist Injured in Late Night Crash 🚨
A motorcyclist in Etobicoke found themselves in a serious pickle after crashing late Tuesday night at Islington Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard. Toronto's finest rushed to the scene, sending the driver to the hospital with some gnarly injuries. While the 38-year-old driver is expected to pull through, they're also facing a few not-so-fun Highway Traffic Act charges. The incident caused quite the traffic jam as emergency crews worked their magic. Here's to a speedy recovery and less dramatic rides in the future!

Last week we asked: Would you rather pay a parking ticket and get prime parking for a year, or take your chances disputing it (and walking farther)?
Etobicoke Scoop readers made their choice loud and clear — A) pay the fine and enjoy that sweet VIP parking spot was the clear winner. Thanks to everyone who replied!
