THE DIGEST
🕵️♀️📽️ Etobicoke’s Sneaky Cameos in Netflix Hit 📺
Netflix's thriller "I Will Find You" may be set in the US, but eagle-eyed viewers caught glimpses of familiar Toronto spots in the backdrop. The show, based on a Harlan Coben book, stars Sam Worthington and hit Netflix's No. 1 spot with 24 million views. From a cocktail bar in Riverside to a Don Russell Drug Mart in Etobicoke, Toronto's locations shine alongside the gripping drama unfolding on screen.
🚨 Crime Concerns Take Center Stage 🚨
Mayoral candidate Brad Bradford kicked off his campaign in Etobicoke with a fiery rally, highlighting rising crime rates and escalating city costs. Addressing a crowd at the Plast Huculak Centre, Bradford emphasized the shift of downtown problems to the suburbs, striking a chord with attendees who shared personal stories of theft and break-ins. As the gap narrows between Bradford and Olivia Chow in recent polls, his focus on public safety is gaining traction among voters.
🌹💔 Etobicoke Mourns Renata Ford's Passing 💔🌹
